Ski service & boot fitting
A ski that does not glide turns a good day into work. We put base, edges and binding back in order, including equipment that is not ours.
How it works
Read the base
We look at what the winter left behind: scratches, worn edges, a dry base. Then we decide what is needed. Not before.
Repair and grind
Holes are filled with repair material, then comes the stone grind. It gives the base back the structure that carries the water away. That is where the glide comes from.
Tune the edges
Side and base edges are brought to the angle that suits your style. Sharp enough to grip on hard snow, detuned where the ski would otherwise catch.
Wax
Hot wax, ironed in and scraped off. The hand version leaves far more wax in the base. That lasts several ski days instead of one.
Check the binding
Z value set to ISO 11088 for weight, height, boot sole length and skier type, then checked on the test bench. You get the record.
Price list
All amounts in euros including 20 % VAT. We take service in at the shop, so you do not need an online booking.

Boot fitting
The boot decides how the day goes
No ski in the world saves a boot that pinches. We measure the foot, check volume and instep and punch out the shell where it presses. With rental boots this costs nothing extra as long as you rent from us.
- Shell widened at the exact spot instead of selling you a size up
- Sole length recorded, which is the basis for the binding setting
- If it still pinches on day two, come back and we improve it
Dropping off a service
You find us at Alpendorf 6, 5600 St. Johann im Pongau. In high season give us a quick call beforehand, then we can tell you right away when you can pick it up.
